Ana was born in Romania and studied printmaking and drawing at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Inspired by the mid-century mansions and villas of Palm Springs, artist Ana Popescu creates her own fictional homes in a series of illustrated architectural studies. ‘Homes’ presents a study of form and composition, and each picture is painted in pastel colours using her playful signature style.
