Designed by French designer Ronan Bouroullec, renowned for combining craftsmanship with industrial techniques, the Luce collection continues his exploration of material, form and light through the quiet magic of blown glass, reflecting his poetic yet practical approach to contemporary design.
At the core of the Luce Sferica Suspension is a horizontal polished extruded aluminium profile housing two integrated linear LED light sources. Encased within a sequence of mouth-blown borosilicate glass spheres, separated by traditional spacers and suspended from slender cables, the illuminated core is softened by the rhythmic arrangement of the glass modules, creating a refined architectural composition with an almost floating quality. A discreet touch dimmer at one end of the lamp enables each light source to be directed independently, upwards, downwards, or in both directions simultaneously, with a smooth 10-100% dimming range. It can also be paired with a Push Dim or DALI system for remote control.
The Luce Sferica Suspension is available in three lengths: S1 (165.6 cm), S2 (207 cm), and S3 (249 cm), each with a 270 cm suspension cable. It can be installed individually or arranged in parallel rows to create striking lighting compositions. Suitable for homes, hospitality settings or architectural interiors, the collection brings together technical precision and the quiet poetry that characterises Bouroullec's work.
