Designed by Belgian artist duo Muller Van Severen, the Hanging Lamp series was originally created for their own home, an old house without a ceiling socket above the dining table. To solve the issue, they designed a lamp that could hang from the wall. The lamp’s playful and simple form looks like a drawing in the air, reflecting the designers’ intuitive and imaginative approach.

Consisting of a single bent rod with two brackets, the lamp is easy to install in the desired spot, thanks to its 2-metre cable length extending from the base of the lamp. The cable runs discreetly inside the rod, keeping the design clean and uncluttered. It features a classic cone-shaped white glass shade paired with a half-mirrored bulb (included), providing a softly diffused glow.

Made from either powder-coated steel, untreated steel, or untreated brass tube, the lamp offers a colourful finish that adds character, or a raw finish that ages beautifully over time, developing a subtle patina. The lamp’s slender and minimal design makes it ideal for corners, above dining tables or in living rooms. Its geometric silhouette adds both character and practical light. The lamps are available in five different designs and various colours.
