Materials/Construction
Bench - Solid oak - untreated or painted black, FSC Certified.
Outer Cushion - The outer cushions (light grey and dark grey) are made of Crisp Wool (93% New Zealand wool and 7% polyamide) or 100% linen.
Inner Cushion - Fibre Wadding is made of carded thin polyester fibres that contain air in between the fibres. The entrapped air creates the ability to insulate and to provide a soft comfort feeling in the cushion.
A leather strap comes with the grey cushions and a braided linen strap comes with the linen cushion.
Crisp Wool is a multi-coloured fabric woven in an attractively strong woollen yarn. It has superb abrasion qualities made for everyday use, and is further more naturally dirt resistant. Crisp is both Oeko-Tex and EU Ecolabel certified and 100% free of heavy metals.
Linen is made of natural fibres from the flax plant growing in the cooler regions of the world. The long fibres of the plant have for many years been used to make linens. The fabrics are often stronger and heavier than a fabric made of cotton and gives a sublime comfort due to its ability to absorb / give off humidity.
