Eames DAR Plastic Armchair RE는 크롬 처리된 '에펠탑' 스타일의 다리 베이스를 갖춘 전설적인 유리 섬유 의자의 현대 버전입니다. 이 의자는 뉴욕 저가 가구 디자인 공모전에서 현대 미술관을 위해 Zenith Plastics와 공동으로 제작되었으며 세계 최초로 산업적으로 제조된 플라스틱 의자였습니다.
1950년대부터 유기적인 모양의 플라스틱 안락의자 시트 쉘이 다양한 베이스와 결합되어 수백만 개가 생산되었습니다. 현재 재활용 폴리프로필렌 버전에서 안락의자는 기후 변화에 따른 배출가스를 적게 발생시키고 생산 중에 훨씬 적은 에너지를 소비합니다. 또한 곡선형 디자인으로 더욱 편안한 착석감을 제공합니다.
2015년부터 DAR은 수정된(약간 더 큰) 크기로 제공되었으며, 이 'New Height'는 이제 사용 가능한 유일한 표준 DAR 모델입니다.

Base - Wire base with cross struts, chrome-plated or powder coated finish.

Special additives retard the fading of colours due to UV radiation. However, if the chair is exposed to sunlight for prolonged periods, the colour may change over time. We recommend limited exposure to sunlight.
