Created by Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker, the HAY Chisel collection has now expanded to include dining chairs, stools, bar stools and dining tables, creating a timeless family of wooden furniture with a distinctly contemporary look. Named after the classic carpentry tool, Chisel was created from a desire to design solid wooden furniture with a distinctive silhouette that would stand the test of time.
Developed with optimal craftsmanship and ergonomics in mind, the chair's curved seat and backrest provide good support in a visually inviting way, complemented by angled legs that echo the chisel reference through their characteristically bevelled edges. With its minimal, clean design, the chair fits effortlessly into both home and public spaces.
Available in a wide variety of wood types and colours, the chair is suitable for a range of interiors and dining environments. A front-upholstered version is also available.
