Created by Norwegian designer Andreas Bergsaker, the HAY Chisel collection has now expanded to include dining chairs, stools, bar stools and dining tables, creating a timeless family of wooden furniture with a distinctly contemporary look. Named after the classic carpentry tool, Chisel was created from a desire to design solid wooden furniture with a distinctive silhouette that would stand the test of time.
Developed with craftsmanship and ergonomics in mind, the bar stool features a curved seat and backrest that provide comfortable support, with 20 mm foam padding adding an extra layer of comfort. The angled legs echo the chisel reference through their distinctive bevelled edges, while an integrated footrest provides additional support, ensuring comfort even when seated for extended periods.
Available in a wide variety of wood types and colours, the bar stool is suitable for a range of interiors, from kitchens and dining spaces to bars and other public settings. It is also available without upholstery.
