Created by French industrial designer Philippe Starck, the Bon Jour Unplugged Portable Lamp is the smaller, portable version of the Bon Jour Table Lamp. It reflects his belief that light should be democratic, adaptable and personal. At the heart of the design is the idea of customisation; a single lamp that can be transformed through interchangeable crowns available in a variety of materials and finishes. These can be matched or contrasted with the transparent base, allowing for a wide range of expressions to suit different interiors.

Constructed from injection-moulded PMMA with a diffuser and Edge Lighting technology, the portable lamp emits a soft, direct light while offering the flexibility of wireless lighting. An optical touch sensor on the base provides control over four brightness levels and three colour temperature settings. A rechargeable Li-ion battery delivers between 6 and 24 hours of use, depending on the selected brightness, while the included USB-C charging cable ensures convenient recharging.

The Bon Jour Unplugged Portable Lamp comes with a transparent crown as standard. To customise the lamp's appearance, additional interchangeable crowns in a range of materials and finishes can be purchased separately here. It is also available as a table lamp.
