Created by Danish designer Simon Legald, the Normann Copenhagen Bit Stool Cone is a visually distinct and versatile product, which is both a piece of furniture and a sculptural piece of art. Inspired by clear-cut shapes like monoliths and columns, Simon's interpretation of the stool is bold and practical. Its balanced yet minimal shape allows it to serve as both a stool and a side table.
Crafted from 95% post-industrial recycled PE and 5% Virgin PE, each Bit Stool is made using rotational folding techniques. The resulting water-tight single element makes the design suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with the stool capable of withstanding temperatures from -10 to +50 degrees. The collections uniquely speckled colour options, also add a playful touch to any space that needs it.
The Bit Stool collection also includes Column and Stack shapes, available in diverse colours.
