Designed by Jonas Trampedach for Frama, the Rivet Typecase is a compartmentalised aluminium wall shelf with distinct and varying sections created for storing and displaying your most cherished objects. Thanks to the separate backplate it is easy (and already prepared) to mount on the wall. The Rivet Typecase will fit seamlessly into any room without taking up lots of space.

Based on the traditional hand construction technique of riveting, the Rivet Series is made of laser-cut raw aluminium sheets, hereafter joined together by hand using a basic hammer tool. The traditional riveting technique takes advantage of the aluminium's softness making it easy to shape. Hand-made in a local workshop, the designs will show natural irregularities. In keeping with the purity of the design and honest construction, the aluminium is left untreated. The raw aluminium surface will develop its own and unique graceful patina over time.

The Frama's Rivet Collection is a series of both functional and aesthetically striking pieces suitable for any room or space.
