The Nyoko rug from Linie designs has been inspired by Japanese art & design; Simple at first glance with intricate detailing running underneath. A marl effect is created by running random strands of black wool amongst the primarily off-white yarns. Softening the rug, a harlequin pattern is woven through with no tonal change, instead using a subtle relief in the rug surface to display the pattern. Through this technique the harlequin pattern will vary in visibility, depending on the available light and the angle the rug is viewed at.

Nyoko rugs are handmade in India by specialist artisans with skills passed from generation to generation. Linie Designs are a member of the 'Care and Fair' initiative that battles child labour, funds empowerment for women and provides education for children. The wool itself is Indian pure new wool, this yarn is one of the worlds strongest, which ensures your rug will last as long as possible.

We recommend using an underlay with this rug to prevent slipping. Really Well Made offers a range of underlay sizes, please get in touch if you would like to add one to your order.

Please note these care instructions:
Always use a vacuum cleaner with a non-motorised head to care for your rug. Motorised heads pull out connected fibres from the rug and will drastically reduce its lifespan.
