Materials/Construction
Shelf wedges are made from solid oak.
Shelves are made from an MDF core with either an oiled/painted oak finish. The MDF core makes the shelf consistent in strength and stable in dimensions, meaning that it doesn’t expand or contract. This is important when working with the wedge principle.
