The Haus paperweight by designer Jan Philip Holler is a playful object with an open use context. Already much celebrated for its high-end furniture designs in solid wood, e15 now offer objects of a smaller scale that feature the similar attention to detail, aesthetics and workmanship.
Reminiscent of architectural building blocks, Holler selected the schematic version of a 'haus' (the German word for house) as his basic form from which the designer created a small collection of four paperweights - each distinguished by their respective roofs – duo-pitched, mono-pitched or hipped. Haus is available in solid oiled European oak or walnut timber, with the smallest version also available in a highly polished brass version.
Each of the handcrafted Haus paperweights is designed simply to be functional, playful and decorative – ideal as a small sculpture for the home or office. The product would make an ideal gift for anybody with an interest in Architecture and Design.
