Performance LED chips mounted onto columns of sapphire substrate enable the bulb to mimic the decorative look of the classic Edison while providing the technical and energy saving performance of a modern LED. The Gaia 6 Watt emits 425 lumens of brightness with a very warm 2200 kelvin light tone (a similar tone as a traditional incandescent bulb). Gaia is rated as an A++ product with an energy output up to 90% more efficient than an incandescent bulb. The product is expected to last 30,000 hours or 12 - 15 years with normal usage.
