The Tom Dixon Flare Bead Silver LED Pendant Light reinterprets classic forms through simple, modern geometries that combine spheres and cones into an elegant sculptural silhouette. Inspired by scientific glassware, the Flare pendants draw on decades of fascination with borosilicate glass, translating this precise material into expressive lighting forms.
Crafted from clear, heat-resistant and ultra-transparent borosilicate glass, each piece is mouth-blown and hand-turned, then aluminium-metallised to create a dramatic, highly reflective silver finish with striking internal reflections. The pendant features an integrated LED light source and is supplied with a generous 3.5 m black fabric cord, allowing the height to be adjusted to suit different settings. It can be used individually or grouped at varying heights to create a striking multi-pendant arrangement in both residential and commercial spaces.
The Flare collection is available in two distinct shapes, Bead and Top, both inspired by the movement of water and droplets to create soft, ballooning organic silhouettes. The Flare Bead Pendant Light is also available in an Opal finish with an E27 Edison screw bulb fitting.
