Designed in 1952 by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen, the Egg Table was created to complement the iconic Ant Chair. As its name suggests, the table resembles an egg in form. With its gently curved elliptical shape and compact 115 x 84 cm tabletop, it introduces an informal elegance that suits small living spaces or a home office setting.

Comprised of a walnut veneered top and three oblique legs in chromed tubular steel with struts at the upper part, the design offers a balanced contrast between warmth and lightness while ensuring stability. The three-leg construction enhances stability while allowing generous legroom and easy access from all sides. This combination remains just as modern and stylish today as ever. The bevelled, rounded edges soften the overall profile and highlight the table’s graceful silhouette, making it a timeless addition to both everyday living and public spaces.
