Created by Simon Legald, the Drape is a lounge chair collection that harmonises sharp lines with soft curves, defining its distinctive character. The upholstery is 'draped' around the chair, giving an elegant and organic outline, inviting you to take a well-deserved rest.
Drape embodies a design where comfort and aesthetics seamlessly blend. A hard moulded PU foam shell with steel reinforcement and a lacquered oak base ensures stability and strength, while a soft moulded PU foam seat provides optimal comfort, shaping itself according to body contours, making it ideal for relaxation.
Drape's voluminous form is balanced by a slender base, refining its modern expression. The elevated sides, which organically become armrests, create a cosy, intimate nook, while a wide seat allows for a variety of relaxed seating postures.
