Part of the Copenhagen series designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the CPH Deux 220 Table shares the same uncluttered profile and strong identity that are consistent with the rest of the collection. With a round tabletop that adds a gentle contrast to its engineered aesthetic, this table is versatile enough to complement a variety of settings, from private homes to public spaces. Its design seamlessly combines form and function, making it a timeless addition to any environment.

The collection offers dining tables, coffee tables and benches in 12 different sizes. The tabletop surface is made from a new laminate based on Nanotechnology providing an extremely matt surface with a soft touch that is anti-fingerprint and easily cleaned.

Please note: in Autumn 2024 the specification of HAY CPH Tabletops has changed from a plywood construction to an MDF construction. The visual change is subtle but many images will show the older plywood model.

Materials/Construction

Tabletop - 18 mm water-based lacquered MDF with nanolaminate. 1 mm laminate.
Frame - Solid wooden legs in water-based lacquered oak, lacquered beech, or untreated beech, featuring non-visible, integrated screw-in adjustable feet that can be extended by up to 12 mm to level the table on uneven surfaces.

Hay furniture is now treated with an eco-friendly water based lacquer, it replaces the options of ‘Matt Lacquer’ and Clear Lacquer’. Visually the ‘Water-Based Lacquer' treatment appears somewhere between the two previous lacquers; more glossy than the matt finish, but not as glossy as the clear lacquer. Where the new treatment is used it will also always be applied to FSC certified wood sourced from sustainable forests. Together the material fulfils the EU Ecolabel requirements.

Please get in touch if you would like to loan our material samples.

    Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

There are few, if any, designers as well renowned and respected as Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec - often known simply as the Bouroullec Brothers. Ronan is a graduate of the École supérieure des Arts décoratifs in Paris and Erwan attended the École nationale supérieure des Arts in Cergy before starting their own studio together in Paris.

The design duo started their practice as joint partners in 1999 and quickly established a reputation for offering a new perspective on materiality and purpose. Since then they have worked with some of the world’s most illustrious design brands, creating products which are already considered to be future classics. Their work ranges from small utilitarian objects to architectural projects. In...
