Ro Collection's Clover Stool first emerged in Season 3 of the TV programme "Danmarks Næste Klassiker," (Denmark's Next Classic) where Danish designers Martin Colberg and Peter Serup were among the participants. The design brief required the creation of a stool using minimal materials, which would be comfortable enough to serve as an extra seat around a dining table during a two-course meal, without compromising on aesthetics.

The name "Clover Stool" is a tribute to every child who wanders barefoot, with eyes fixed on the ground in a clover field, seeking luck independently. It also appeals to adults who retain a sense of childlike wonder. Each leg is made from five strips of laminated oak, and the seat is also crafted from solid laminated oak. The visible leg joints on the seat surface underscore its durability and sturdiness, and the inclusion of a black metal footrest further ensures maximum comfort. The stool offers not just additional seating but also embodies a minimal and quite unique aesthetic. 

The Clover Stool is made in Denmark in a family-owned workshop.
