With an impressive 12mm thickness, the toughened glass top of Boundary Table is stronger than the industry standard of 8-10mm. Rubber rings are used to connect the glass to the wooden structure, resulting in a seamless blend of two materials that create a striking contrast of warmth and cold. Available in round or square tabletop shapes, Boundary Table comes with three finish options for the base..
Chris Martin on the design: “I wanted to give the base of the table a strong expression and therefore made it as large as I dared. The table takes its place in the room, while the transparent glass prevents the impression from being too solid. There are strong contrasts in wood and glass as materials; glass is born from fire and is frozen in time, wood is nourished by the heat of the earth and the material lives on even as furniture. I like to bring these two separate worlds together.”
