Originally designed in 1959 by Alvar Aalto for the National Pensions Institute in Helsinki, the Artek 810 Floor Light features two hand-riveted shades forming concentric circles that create a balance between lines and curves. The two separate shades cast upwards and downwards to light the space, allowing different levels of brightness and the interaction of direct and indirect light.

Crafted with a black leather wrapped steel stand finished by hand, polished brass or steel neck; the A810 Floor Light brings stylish modernist aesthetics and warm, soft light to any environment.

The A810 Floor Light is available in two different finishes - stainless steel or polished brass tube.
